It has a natural finish over the Maple body, maple and rosewood 34" scale neck. P/J pickups with active EQ, Controlls for Volume, Balance, Treble, Bass, and Midrange (style selector) variable sweep control, smoked chrome hardware. There are no  major scratches or dings. Action is on the low side, but you can set it up how you want. I have never gigged with this, i just used it for studio work. So it's never been out of my house since i bought it. everything works great, although i lost the truss rod cover on the headstock, and the bass/treble knobs are scratchy sometimes, but some contact cleaner would fix that right up.This bass is extremely versitile, i can go from Jazz to Korn to Tool to Funk with the special mid control alone!!!
