With a louder speaker than other metronomes and an earphone jack for privacy, you'll be able to hear the beat even in a noisy house or practice room. Or, if you prefer silence, you can use the flashing light by itself as the beat indicator. An extended speed range, adjustable in one-beat increments, allows you to choose the exact tempo you want-- anywhere from 40 beats per minute up to 250! (Other metronomes are only adjustable in two-beat increments.) The LCD display displays the current speed setting, while the area around the control buttons shows the speed settings that correspond to Italian tempo instructions in sheet music. The metronome will also produce an accurate A440 tone for tuning and features a tilt-back stand. Requires one 9-volt battery (not included).
