This stand can be lowered and raised witha range over 2 feet.
I have played drums for close to 7 years, owned a number of sets and this was by far the best hi-hat stand I ever played with.
Comes with a very strong clip that can be adjusted to any height tohold the top hi-hat cymbal in place.
