Great estate find!  This is a used Kun rest.  It looks to be in good working order.  There is a soft piece of removable protective felt covering the Kun name on the underside.  I did peel it back to check the name, but left it on to let you decide if you would use it or not.   It measures about 9 inches long and has adjustable feet for both length and height.   I don't know much about these so please use the photos for your final judgement.
