You are bidding on a used but like new instructional guitar book called "Essential Guitar" by Jack Wilkins and Peter Rubie. It is in very good condition but there is some writing on the inside front cover in black pen. "From Back to Rock-Everything You Need to Master Your Favorite Instrument." It is a very nice hardcover book. It covers everything from the history of the guitar and famous guitarists, to types of guitars and styles, to how to buy a guitar, to how to maintain a guitar, to how to get a good sound and record yourself, how to practice, and then instructional lessons covering everything from proper technique to notes, chords, scales, tricks and beyond. This is a great book and would be perfect for someone who is thinking about playing, has just started playing, or has been playing the guitar for a while.
