Welcome ! Alamo Capris amp cabinet for sale. Found in the rubish pile it was a total wreck. No chasiss, speaker, back panel, baffle board, the covering was shot, not even a tube chart, it had been in the rain and was ruined, by most people standards. I started out to make an extension cabinet for a 65' Capris I owned at one time. It was knocked apart and re-glued but the finger joints in the 3/8' CDX plywood had disintigrated so blocks had to be added on the interior and the sides, top and bottom screwed to the blocks. Bondo was then used to build the corners back up and fill the dents. It only needs a last touch-up fill and sanding to be ready for covering. Supplied with a 1/4" hardboard baffle which is correct, for you to cut out a speaker hole and mount some studs. Two back panels are supplied, one to cover up the blocks that can still hold an amp chasiss if you have one and this could be a complete amp. One covers the blocks if it was to become an extension cab. D.I.Y. ! You finish it, it's an Alamo, or whats left of one, and should never wind up in the garbage, again.
